Tushar Cherian is the SVP of the Debt and Treasury department at Kinara Capital, where he leads the Debt and Treasury functions of the company. He is responsible for managing relationships with the 40+ existing lenders, strategizing funding sources to align with the company’s business plan, and overseeing Kinara’s treasury investments.

His expertise extends across diverse areas such as Project and Infrastructure Finance, Structured Finance, Distressed Finance, and Debt Capital Markets. He has extensive sector knowledge primarily spread across Infrastructure, Manufacturing, NBFCs, and Microfinance Institutions.

Tushar has over 16 years of experience in the financial sector. Prior to his role at Kinara, he held the position of Vice President in Structured Finance at Deutsche Bank. In the past, he has also worked with renowned organizations such as L&T Infrastructure Finance and ICICI Bank.

Tushar holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with a specialization in Finance from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research.
